FX and Ryan Murphy have had quite the successful run lately with their 'American Horror Story' anthology series and at some point they thought it would be great to move into a dramatic narrative take on some true-crime stories. While this series will not debut until February of 2016, FX has decided to release a little teaser of sorts to drum up some interest ahead of time. Check it out below!
Not much is shown in the way of characters or story, in fact pretty much nothing at all but there's a nice little taste of tone on display here. With a street that's a little too quiet and a cute pup who can tell something is amiss, this teaser is short in length and easily digestable.
Ryan Murphy is on a pretty strong run lately with multiple successful shows across multiple channels and clearly has a good relationship with FX. Hopefully Mr. Murphy and crew can continue to juggle fire and produce something of quality come this winter when audiences will be able to see his take on the O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson story. With a cast including Cuba Gooding Jr., John Travolta, David Schwimmer, and Courtney B. Vance and an experienced showrunner in place, all of the pieces are there for something at least entertaining come February.
