Warner Brothers Officially Releases Previously Leaked Suicide Squad Trailer... and it's Incredible!

Exclusive footage released during Comic Con panels is no new device and neither is pirating this footage. This year continued the trend with low quality bootlegs of exclusive footage from Suicide Squad, Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse coming out at staggered times over the weekend.

Warner Brothers previously released a statement saying they felt that the trust they had with the Hall H crowd had been broken and that they had no plans to release this same trailer online but they apparently have switched their stance. Deadline has a quote from Suasn Kroll, a Warner Brothers executive with their decision to release this video in HD for the world to enjoy.

While I don't support the theft and illegal release of this property, I can't say that I'm very upset that this resulted in an official HD release. Hopefully we can get a crystal clear look at the fellas over on the Fox end of things soon as well. I do worry though that if this trend continues in San Diego that studios will choose to not show any content rather than release the HD footage later in the weekend. We shall see.

In the meantime, check out this absolutely killer trailer below as it gives us a brief look at the whole Squad and the ever elusive string of moving images that is Joker footage that I'm sure many others have been craving as much if not more than I have.
